BPA webinar: Daily demand voltage reduction – pilot program 

 

Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) is launching a daily demand voltage reduction (DVR) pilot program and is seeking participation from interested utilities. Daily DVR is a hybrid demand response program and energy efficiency measure that reduces system voltage delivered from individual utility substations during hours of high demand when energy prices are at a premium. The measure will pay an energy savings incentive based on annual energy savings achieved during specific daily hours in specific months. Utilities may participate as much or as little as they would like during these periods; incentives will be paid based on savings achieved.
