Tagging for EIM cutover 5/3

BPA is currently planning to enter the Western Energy Imbalance Market (EIM) at 00:00 PDT on May 3. In order to help facilitate BPA’s EIM go-live activities, we request that e-Tags with existing BPAT adjacent EIM Entity BAAs have an end time of no later than midnight on May 2 and that new tags are authored with start times no earlier than 12:00AM (00:00) PDT on May 3. This includes both tags that source/sink in the other EIM Entities BAA or wheel through those adjacent EIM Entity BAAs. Essentially any tags that create interchange between BPAT and an existing adjacent EIM Entity BAAs should have their beginning and end times adjusted such that they do not straddle 00:00 on May 3. Customers following these timelines will help support a smooth cutover for BPA’s entry into the Western EIM. The adjacent EIM Entity BAAs are:

TPWR

If you can please review your e-Tags and adjust their beginning and end time to avoid straddling 00:00 PDT on May 3, it would be greatly appreciated by both BPA and our adjacent EIM Entities.
