Large Generation Transition Process

tower"/The Transition Process is the process by which BPA will manage its existing Large Generator Interconnection Queue as it transitions from the existing serial study process to the new cluster study process outlined in TC-25.

Any valid interconnection requests that were submitted by November 22, 2023 may apply to enter the Transition Cluster process.

After June 30, BPA will no longer process individual Feasibility Studies or System Impact Studies for large generator interconnection requests and instead will transition to using a new cluster study process. Customers will have the opportunity to apply for a interconnection request to continue forward into this transition process beginning on June 30, 2024.
